Upair One Drone Remote Control & Set Up For First Flight
UPair One’s white colored remote control features intuitive flight control keys and a 7 inch LED screen. The controller has a transmission rate of 800 meters and a working frequency of 2.4 GHz, and an FPV frequency of 5.8 GHz.
When you push the left side joystick upwards, the drone will take off, and if you push it downward, the drone will land. If you press the joystick to the left side, the drone will rotate in the anti-clockwise direction. Moreover, the drone will turn clockwise when you push the joystick to the right side.
Another important key on UPair One’s controller is the joystick located on the right of the controller. When you push up the joystick, your drone will fly forward, and if you pull it down, the drone will fly backward. Furthermore, if you press the joystick to the left or right, the drone will fly leftward or rightward respectively.
The home point switch located above the left joystick returns the drone to its take-off point. On the other hand, the key located above the right joystick hovers the drone when it is adjusted to the midpoint and activates the headless mode when it is pushed backward.
The controller’s switch off, switch on, and switch on the FPV, is located on the backside of the remote controller, just above the battery compartment.
Flying the Drone
Before flying the drone, we suggest that you assemble and tighten the propellers and install the fully charged battery into its compartment. Make sure that you install the battery securely to avoid crashes resulting from battery disconnection. After this setup, find an open place away from buildings, trees, or animals to fly your drone.
We recommend that you fly your drone in open spaces since it can destroy property or harm people in case it crashes. Flying the drone near buildings or trees can also obstruct communication between the remote controller and the drone.
While in an open place, position the drone on a flat ground and press the power switch located on the drone’s battery till the drone beeps to confirm that it is connected. After you have turned on the drone, turn on the remote controller.
With your drone and controller turned on, push both joysticks on the controller to the inside bottom or the outside bottom to power the drone’s motors. Take off the drone by pressing the left joystick upwards. Try flying the drone forward, backward, or rotate it by using the appropriate keys on the controller. Land it by pushing the left joystick downwards.
Before any flight, we suggest that you fully charge the drone’s intelligent battery and the controller. Besides charging the batteries, make sure that the propellers and the camera are well secured.
The manufacturer recommends that you do not fly the drone in a windy, rainy, or snowy day because strong winds can affect the drone’s stability while rain and snow can damage the drone.
